Fort Augustus is an absolute gem, offering everything from tranquil relaxation to thrilling outdoor activities. The chalet's secluded location, just a short stroll from the loch, was absolutely perfect. It truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to its well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and thoughtful additions like cleaning products and a coffee press. Plus, the little extras provided, like tea, coffee, and condiments. With its superb location and ample amenities, this hidden paradise was the ultimate base for exploring and unwinding.

The location of this chalet is superb, situated right in the heart of town and within a few minutes' walk to restaurants and shops. the chalet itself is clean and well-maintained, with amenities such as a washing machine and dryer for convenience. the owner is also very attentive and ensures a warm welcome, with lights and radiators already on upon arrival.

The only minor issue is that there were only 4 coat hangers for 2 rooms, which may be a bit inconvenient with more clothing to hang.

The location was perfect, with easy access to the village and off-road parking. The chalet itself was cozy and spacious, withsuper clean and cozy beds. I loved the well-equipped kitchen and the small touches like the coffee press. It . Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the need for a non-slip mat in the slippery bathroom and a handle for the shower, I still highly recommend this place. The owner was accommodating and quickly resolved any issues we had. With a little investment, this hotel could be even more amazing. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere of the room. The location was excellent, close to the lake. We also liked the fact that the check-in process was smooth and the host was helpful in guiding us to the chalet.

The bed was quite squeaky and the bed sheets and covers looked worn out. It would have been more comfortable if the bed was quieter and the linens were in better condition.

We loved the small touches like having cleaning products and a coffee press available. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels provided. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the tea, coffee, and cooking supplies that were already stocked. The convenience of parking right outside the door and being just a short walk away from the canal, pubs, and restaurants made our stay even better. a wonderful experience!

The chalet had a very private and secluded feel, perfect for a cozy Christmas getaway. It was within walking distance of all the local amenities, which made it convenient for us to explore the area and enjoy some festive activities. The chalet also had a lovely garden, which added to the charm and provided a peaceful space to relax and unwind.

The bathroom, as the bath was quite slippery and there was no walk-in shower. It would have been better if there was a non-slip mat and a handle to hold on to, as it was a bit tricky for some members of our group.

The location of the chalet is perfect, within easy walking distance to the beach. the living spaces are cozy and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. the chalet is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including white goods and a dishwasher. the off-road parking is a convenient feature.

The bathroom can be a safety concern, as it was slippery and lacked proper grips or a rubber mat.

The secluded wooden building nestled in Fort Augustus was a charming retreat amidst the Scottish Highlands. Surrounded by a private garden and with convenient parking, it felt like our own little hideaway. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the sunset over the nearby Loch Ness. It was like witnessing a painting come to life, with vibrant hues painting the sky. We couldn't have asked for a more picturesque backdrop to our vacation.

    Bathroom slipperiness.
